TNBA Queen
Robin Brown-Holt was crowned TNBA Queen on Friday, May 29 in Ft.
Lauderdale, FL. She raised $34,400.99, the
most ever raised by a GWBS and National Queen contestant.
Congratulations to Robin and her committee, their hard work and those cakes

Hill Strikers # 16 Place 2nd in AJR Rolloff
Congratulations
to the Silver Hill Strikers #16, who placed 2nd in the AJR Rolloff in Ft.
Lauderdale. The team: Victoria
Bush, Brandon Lowe, Lamont Pearson Jr. Dominique Thompson. The East Team was
defeated by the West Team, in the stair-step final with a score of 942 to
759.

M. Woodberry
(Age 85) Died March 21, 2009 in Sandusky,
Ohio. Born March 19, 1924 in Ohio. World War II US Army veteran he received
the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was employed at the U. S. Postal Service
and the Patent Office. A member of the National Capitol Area Bowling
Association Hall of Fame, Greater Washington Bowling Senate (TNBA) Hall
of Fame and 1985 TNBA King. Survived by nephews and nieces including Edward Scruggs of Columbus
and Michael (Molly) Arrington of Washington, DC..

2009 GWBS Doubles Tournament
Thank you for your participation in our
2009 Doubles Tournament. We had a total of 662 entries and the prize fund
was calculated based on those entries. Here are the
final results.
Several disqualification protests were filed with USBC. Those issues have
been resolved. Prize fund checks have been mailed.
